About Us

 Our journey began with a single step, a heartfelt encounter, and an immense desire to help others. In the early years, co-founders Brandon and Blaire Carpenter, fueled by their personal commitment to service, engaged in numerous philanthropic activities within their local community. Brandon, a respected Lieutenant in the city Fire Department and successful business owner, and Blaire, a university professor, researcher, and mathematician, utilized their professional expertise to support and uplift those around them.

In 2022, during a visit to Guatemala, the Carpenters were profoundly moved by the pressing needs they witnessed within the indigenous Mayan communities. The lack of access to quality education and safe living conditions struck a chord in their hearts, inspiring them to take action on a larger scale.

Recognizing the vast need for safer living conditions and educational resources, and driven by their deep compassion for others, Brandon and Blaire officially launched The Carpenter Foundation in March 2023. Their goal was to expand their efforts beyond local communities and address the critical needs of underprivileged children and families worldwide. Guided by principles of unity, love, and education, The Carpenter Foundation provides tangible, life-changing support and resources to help children, families, and educational systems thrive. 

In 2024, The Carpenter Foundation achieved a significant milestone by receiving 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS. This designation not only validates the Foundation’s commitment to serving others but also allows donors to make tax-deductible contributions, amplifying the impact of our collective efforts.

Bound by the shared belief that every child, irrespective of their birthplace, deserves a safe home and access to quality education, The Carpenter Foundation sows seeds of hope, inclusivity, and transformative change in communities around the world. Our primary focus remains empowering children through quality education and resources, supplying essential materials for homes, and addressing the multifaceted needs of families.
